HARRISBURG ROUNDABOUT
CLIFF AVENUE & WILLOW STREET

PROJECT INFORMATION SITE

Over recent years, the City of Harrisburg has investigated the need to improve the intersection of Cliff Avenue and Willow Street to alleviate traffic congestion experienced by commuters. City leaders embarked on a mission to accomplish that goal with plans to rebuild the intersection during the 2023 construction season. The project will include upgrading the intersection to a two lane roundabout design that will improve traffic flow and emphasize safety. Pedestrian crosswalk signals are included with the design and will be installed at all 4 quadrants of the intersection. Underground facilities within the intersection will be improved with the project as well. Elements of streetscape and beautification will be incorporated into the final project to enhance aesthetics and create an inviting and welcoming presence for the community. The City of Harrisburg looks forward to completing this important project. Construction is planned to begin on Monday, April 17, 2023 with the majority of the project complete and fully open to traffic by November 2, 2023.
