August 17th Construction Update

Again, there was a rain event over the weekend that made progress slow early in the week. The site dried out nicely, and work was able to continue. The storm sewer has now been completed which wraps up all the major underground utilities for the project. Crews have started placing topsoil along Willow Street where the curb and gutter and sidewalk has been completed. In the coming weeks the seeding in these areas will be completed.

Starting today the subgrade is going to be cut to the final grade in preparation for geotextile fabric and granular fill. The subgrade cut, fabric, and granular fill placement will take place over the next week with concrete work following.
