June 29th Construction Update
Updated: Jul 6
Big changes are starting to take place for the Roundabout Project. Four lanes of concrete paving and curb and gutter on Willow Street west of Cliff Avenue were completed this week. The subgrade excavation was performed on Willow Street east of Cliff Avenue and the granular fill was installed. Crews have begun to form the curb and gutter on this stretch of roadway and plan to start pouring concrete after the holiday weekend. Crews have begun grading work behind the curb in preparation for the sidewalk. There will not be much activity on the project from Saturday 7/1 through 7/4 in honor of the Fourth of July holiday.

Returning from the holiday, concrete crews will be busy pouring concrete on the east leg of Willow Street. Following the installation of the curb and gutter, the asphalt paving will be started. The Cliff Avenue closure is currently scheduled for Monday July 17th. Check back in the coming weeks for more details on the closure. Have a Happy Fourth of July weekend!
