May 24th Construction Update

With Willow Street west of Cliff Avenue now closed, construction has started to move into that area. The roadway removals were performed early last week with rough grading following shortly after. The storm sewer has been started on Willow Street west of Cliff Avenue and will continue running east along the north side of Willow Street. The excavation and grading work associated with the detention pond that will be located west of Casey’s gas station has been started and will continue in the coming weeks. Private utility work has continued along the project. Many adjustments to the private utilities were required and most of the work has been completed.

Upcoming work on the project will consist of storm sewer installation, excavation of the detention pond, grading and placing fill material along Willow Street west of Cliff Avenue and continued private utility work. There will be no work occurring on Monday 5/29 in honor of Memorial Day.
