May 3rd Construction Update

Willow Street east of Cliff Avenue is starting to look a lot different. The rough grading is well underway and will continue in the coming weeks. The water main has been installed starting near the Cliff and Willow intersection and running towards the east end of the project. The new water main is scheduled to be tied into the existing water main later today.

T&R has moved equipment to the west side of Cliff Avenue and has started moving the topsoil in preparation to begin the pond excavation. The pond excavation will be started later this week and will continue in the upcoming weeks.

Willow Street remains open to traffic west of Cliff Avenue. The work on Honeysuckle Street is progressing quickly. When the work on Honeysuckle Street is complete it will be opened to traffic and Willow Street west of Cliff Avenue will then be closed.

Personnel has continued to aid in pedestrian traffic movements at peak times of the day near Honeysuckle Street and Cliff Avenue.
