September 15th Construction Update

The construction on the roundabout has been progressing quickly over the last week. The two driving lanes for the roundabout have been poured, the truck apron (center most lane) is the last lane of the roundabout to be poured. There will be concrete paving about 180 feet each direction of the roundabout which is what the crew is focusing on in the coming week. Currently all the roadway concrete is scheduled to be completed by the end of next week! Following the pavement for the roadway the concrete sidewalks will be started. Asphalt paving is also scheduled in the coming weeks which will tie the concrete into the existing asphalt in each direction.
